Services and treatment offered

Immunization: Infants and children must get immunized in order for their immune system to remain strong and fight against widespread diseases. At Nikos Hospital, a complete childhood immunization ensures that your child gets immunizations at the time of birth and through his or her childhood. Vaccinations provided include Hepatitis B, HPV, Chickenpox, Rotavirus, Pneumococcal, Whooping Cough.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit : An enthusiastic team of NICU nurses and doctors provide round-the-clock care and support. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is equipped with incubators, high-end ventilators, bubble CPAP machines, high proficiency monitors, phototherapy units and arterial blood gas machines.

The Unit is prepared to care for neonates requiring intensive and special care. Our team consists of neonatologists trained from around the world and are trained in the advanced techniques in the field of neonatology.

The NICU has facilities for Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC). We encourage early Kangaroo mother care for our preterm newborns. This skin to skin contact keeps them as warm as they would be in an incubator. Additionally it makes them physiologically more stable, enabling them to bond better with their mother, having fewer serious infections enabling them to go home sooner and breastfeed for longer.

PICU: Nikos Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, under the supervision of specialist paediatricians and experienced medical support staff, ensure the best care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.
